My most requested recipe by far. It is not my own, though. I found it one night while looking up recipes on the net. It was posted by a wonderful lady named Char; all credit goes to her. Several of the recipes on this page came from her sadly now defunct Geocities site. 😞
Cafe Served
If it has been served at the Torch Table Cafe, you'll find it here.
From the now defunct CajunintheKitchen.com website. Please take the time to make this. It is so much better than pre-made store bought Cajun spices. Used in the Cajun Spaghetti recipe. Use as a general seasoning too!
Another of Char's recipes. This is a main meal. Thick and very filling. Top it with sour cream and the salsa of your choice.
Delicious and so easy to prepare. Hard to believe its so easy!
The name says it all. Only 4 ingredients and so very tasty.
Makes a big batch. Freeze some for later or invite more friends.
Meaning of the term aside, this is one seriously good sandwich. Tastes great like it is, or let your imagination run wild. Works great with chicken or beef fajita, taco and pizza fixings. Just use the basic recipe as a starting point.
Hey, steel workers gotta eat breakfast too! Prepare this the night before, pop it into the oven in the morning and let the smell fill your house.
This one is for my buddy Sparky. You control the heat in these by the amount of cyan pepper you use. I like a heaping ½ tablespoon myself. Rumor has it some people like to go crazy and use 1 ½ tablespoons.
Another one that is just too good to be this simple.
For you Denny, sorry it took so long to put up. These actually went over much better than I expected. They seem to bring back a lot of childhood memories.
Very simple. My take on the famous chili sauce and jelly recipe.
Who's Kelly? I have no idea, but I do know this is the best chili I have ever had, and I have tasted a lot of chili. I wasn't the only one to say it either the day it was served in the cafe. It takes a little longer to make, but it is worth it.
Tender and tasty chicken. Makes a lot of gravy, so be sure to serve with mashed potatoes, more stuffing or some egg noodles on the side.
These are great sliced and served over rice or loaded on a French roll and eaten as a sandwich.
Quick and easy salsa. Tastes so good and is so easy to make!
