Ingredients
- 2 ½ lbs. ground beef
- 1 cup crushed cornbread dressing mix
- 2 eggs
- 1 medium Vidalia onion, diced
- 2 teaspoons table salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons Gravy Master
Glaze
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup dark brown sugar, packed firm
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Gravy Master
- 1 cup ketchup
Directions
1. Combine the crushed cornbread dressing mix, eggs, ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce, and 2 teaspoons Gravy Master. Let stand 5–10 minutes so the dressing absorbs the liquids.
2. Combine the mixture with the ground beef, diced onion, salt, and pepper. Mix gently; don't overwork the mixture.
3. Transfer the meat mixture to a 9×13 pan, shape into a loaf about 10–12″ long × 3–4″ wide.
4. Combine glaze ingredients.
5. Brush the glaze over the top and down the sides of the loaf.
6. Bake at 350°F. Check for doneness around 50–55 minutes (internal temp 160°F).
7. Let it rest at least 10 minutes so the juices redistribute, then slice and enjoy.
