Bill: Depressing Dog and the Crispy Combo. Amy: Depressing Dog.
The Depressing Dog had us excited. Same toppings as Gene & Jude’s, and a lot closer to home. That’s where the likeness stopped. The dog was griddled, not boiled. Fries were overcooked and crunchy. We wouldn’t get the dog again.
The Crispy Combo is Italian beef and Italian sausage in a tortilla with hot and sweet peppers and cheese, fried crisp. That, on the other hand, was great.
